Getting Started

Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Sonar Seed! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to launch your ambassador program in minutes.

The Sonar Seed Workflow

The app is designed around two main "loops": the Seeding Loop and the Financial Loop.

  1. Campaign: You create a campaign defining what products you're gifting.
  2. Application: Ambassadors apply through your landing page or portal.
  3. Seeding: You approve applications, which automatically creates Shopify Draft Orders.
  4. Tracking: We track when the order is shipped and when the ambassador posts content.
  5. Payouts: We track sales generated by their affiliate codes and help you process commissions.

5 Steps to Launch

1. Brand Identity

Configuration starts with your Brand Identity. Your initial configuration is set during your first-time login, and you can manage your logo and colors in Settings > Brand. This ensures all ambassador-facing pages stay consistent with your brand.

Note: You can revisit and change your branding, billing, and integration settings at any time in the Settings page located in the sidebar.

2. Create Your First Campaign

Go to the Campaigns tab and click "Create Campaign". Define your products, set audience requirements (like minimum IG followers or specific tiers), and customize your landing page.

3. Set Up Your Portal

Ambassadors need a place to log in and manage their tasks. You can use your standalone portal link or embed it directly on a Shopify page.

4. Invite Ambassadors

If you already have a roster, use the CSV Import tool in the Ambassadors tab. If not, share your campaign landing page link on social media to start collecting applications.

5. Review & Fulfill

As applications roll in, you'll see them in your Campaign dashboard. Review their profiles, click Approve, and Sonar will handle the Shopify order creation automatically.

Finding Your Way Around

  • Global Settings: Go to the Settings tab to manage your Brand Kit, Klaviyo Integration, and Billing. These affect your entire brand.
  • Campaign Settings: Each campaign has its own rules for products, tiers, and forms. These are managed within each specific campaign's dashboard.
