Importing Existing Ambassadors

If you're migrating from another platform or have a spreadsheet of existing ambassadors, you can quickly import them into Sonar Seed.

How to Import

Go to the Ambassadors tab and click the "Invite Ambassadors" button. You have two options:

1. CSV Bulk Import

The fastest way to add your entire roster.

  1. Download our CSV template or prepare your file with these columns: Email, Handle, First Name, Last Name.
  2. Paste your CSV data into the text area.
  3. Optional: Toggle "Send Invitation Email" to immediately send a magic login link to all imported ambassadors.
  4. Click Import.

2. Manual Add

For adding a single ambassador at a time.

  1. Enter their email, social handle (Instagram or TikTok), and name.
  2. Choose whether to send an invitation email immediately.

Import Rules & Limits

  • Email Validation: Every entry must have a valid email address.
  • Duplicate Handling: If you import an email that already exists in your roster, we will update their profile with the new information provided in the CSV.
  • Batch Limit: You can import up to 1,000 ambassadors in a single batch. If you have more, please split your file.
  • Plan Limits: Imports are subject to your plan's active ambassador limit. If an import would exceed your limit, the app will prompt you to upgrade.

Onboarding Imported Ambassadors

When you choose to "Send Invitation Email", Sonar Seed sends a branded email containing a Magic Link.

  • This link is valid for 7 days.
  • When the ambassador clicks it, they are automatically logged into their portal without needing a password.
  • They will be prompted to complete their profile (address, social handles) if any data is missing.
