Creating a Seeding Campaign

Campaigns are the engine of your ambassador program. They allow you to define what products you're gifting, who is eligible, and how applications are handled.

The Campaign Wizard

To create a campaign, go to Campaigns and click "Create Campaign".

Step 1: Basics

  • Campaign Title: The internal and public name (e.g., "Fall 2026 Launch").
  • URL Slug: The unique link ambassadors use to apply (e.g., sonarseed.com/c/fall-launch).
  • Welcome Text: The headline ambassadors see on the landing page.

Step 2: Products & Budget

Select the Shopify products you want to offer as gifts.

  • Variant Selection: You can offer specific variants or all variants of a product.
  • Max Gift Value: Set a limit on the total value an ambassador can claim in a single order (e.g., "Limit to $100 total").
  • Global Order Limit: The total number of gifts available for this entire campaign.

Step 3: Audience & Tiers

Control who can apply for this specific campaign.

  • Social Requirements: Require linked Instagram or TikTok accounts.
  • Ambassador Tiers: Limit the campaign to certain levels (e.g., Only VIP and Elite).
  • Geographic Limits: Restrict applications to specific countries.

Step 4: Form & Compliance

  • Custom Questions: Collect extra info like "Shipping Preference" or "T-Shirt Size".
  • Terms & Conditions: Require ambassadors to agree to your content rights or posting rules.

Step 5: Fulfillment Settings

  • Inventory Location: Select which Shopify location should fulfill these orders.
  • Order Tags: Add custom tags (e.g., FALL-GIFT) to the Shopify orders for easy reporting or automation.

Campaign Visibility

  • Public: The campaign appears on your main ambassador portal.
  • Invite Only: Only accessible via the direct URL slug. Use this for VIP or seeded influencer lists.

Managing Your Campaign

Once created, you can toggle your campaign between Active and Paused from the dashboard. Active campaigns are live and can accept applications immediately. You can review and approve applicants in the Managing Applications section.
