Managing Email Notifications
Sonar Seed handles the essential transactional communication between your brand and your ambassadors. You can customize every message to match your brand's voice.
managing Templates
Go to Settings > Templates to see the list of available emails.
Key Email Types
- Invitation: Sent when you manually import an ambassador or they meet recruitment criteria.
- Application Received: Confirmation sent when an ambassador applies to a campaign.
- Gift Shipped: Sent as soon as a tracking number is added to their order in Shopify.
- Action Required: Sent if you "Reject" a social post submission (Deliverable), prompting them to re-upload.
- Payout Confirmed: Sent when you mark a payout batch as "Paid".
Customizing Content
For each template, you can edit:
- Subject Line: Use variables like
{{ BrandName }}or{{ FirstName }}. - Preview Text: The short snippet shown in email clients.
- Body Content: We use a rich text editor that supports variables (using the curly bracket syntax).
Using Variables
Dynamic variables allow you to personalize every email:
{{ FirstName }}: Ambassador's first name.{{ CampaignTitle }}: The name of the campaign they applied for.{{ TrackingUrl }}: A direct link to their shipment tracking (if available).{{ PortalUrl }}: A direct link to their personal ambassador dashboard.
Global Email Settings
- Disable Built-in Emails: If you are using the Klaviyo Integration, you can choose to disable Sonar's native emails and handle everything through Klaviyo Flows instead.
