Common Error Messages

Here are the most common error messages you might see in the Sonar Seed dashboard and what they mean.

Draft Order Errors

"Location has insufficient inventory"

  • Meaning: The Shopify location you selected in the campaign settings does not have enough stock of the requested item.
  • Solution: Restock in Shopify or update the campaign to pull from a different fufillment location.

"Required ambassador address missing"

  • Meaning: You tried to approve a manual seeding order, but the ambassador's profile is missing a shipping address.
  • Solution: Go to the ambassador's profile, add their address, and try approving again.

Campaign Errors

"Campaign Limit Reached"

  • Meaning: The campaign has reached its Global Order Limit. No more ambassadors can apply.
  • Solution: Increase the limit in the Campaign settings or archive the campaign.

"Invalid Product"

  • Meaning: A product linked to a campaign has been deleted from Shopify or its variants have changed significantly.
  • Solution: Edit the campaign, remove the product, and re-add it to refresh the data.

Billing Errors

"Ambassador Limit Reached"

  • Meaning: You are trying to add more ambassadors than your current plan allows.
  • Solution: Go to Settings > Billing and upgrade to the next tier (e.g., Growth or Scale).

"Subscription Inactive"

  • Meaning: Your Shopify app subscription has been cancelled or a payment failed.
  • Solution: Check your Shopify Billing settings to re-activate the app.
